Painter/Wall Finisher
Performs planned and corrective maintenance on the building’s interior and exterior surfaces. Paints/finishes walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces using brushes, rollers, and/or spray guns. Prepares surfaces prior to painting. Applies wall coverings and other finishes to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces. This position provides painting/wall finishing services throughout the RRMC organization (main hospital campus as well as offsite clinics and administrative offices).
Minimum Education
- High School diploma, vocational school education, or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience
- 1 year of related experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Maintain valid Driver’s license.
- MECH Certification (ASHE/AHA) preferred
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Familiar with federal, state, and local rules and regulations regarding building maintenance and repair.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance practices and safety procedures.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and contractors/vendors.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manufacturer’s instructions.
Pay Range: $19.29 - $28.50
