Are you a skilled VA who thrives in an primary care setting? Join our team at Insight Veterinary Wellness Center, a hybrid hospital providing both Emergency and Primary Care services. We’re looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to support our patients, clients, and clinical team.
Schedule
- 4x10s Monday-Friday (flexible)
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and collect medical histories
- Provide routine patient care and administer vaccines
- Assist with treatments, diagnostics, and anesthesia monitoring
- Perform blood draws, run in-house laboratory work, and place IV catheters
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support a variable caseload depending on season
- Assist with scheduling, client check-in/out, answering phones, and other duties as assigned
About You
- 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant required
- Experience in a small animal practice
- Compassionate communicator with strong client service skills
- Team-oriented, detail-focused, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $23-$27 per hour

- Team: 8 DVMs, 6 RVTs, 29 Support staff
- Facilities: 2 ORs, dental suite, radiology, ultrasound, PRP, Cellfie, in-house lab, Ligasure & cautery
