Maternal Neonatal Services ManagerJOB SUMMARY
Promotes and restores patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of Maternal and Neonatal Designation Programs for the Abilene market; directing and developing staff; demonstrating fiscal responsibility; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff; ensuring an environment conducive to patient and family centered care; initiating or maintaining compliance with regulatory and designation requirements and oversight of corresponding staff and provider education.
In collaboration with service line leaders, responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of patient care provided within the service line. Provides oversight of data collection, policy implementation, and designation survey process, including oversight, management, and maintenance of QAPI program, State of Texas designation requirements, and corresponding regulatory requirements.
Collaborates with the regional and community partners to provide outreach throughout the Perinatal Care Region (PCR), by providing objective feedback on transferred patient outcomes, providing educational resources to referring facilities, and planning and facilitating regular PCR meetings.
Initiates and maintains applicable membership to professional organizations and education pertinent to the care provided and the Texas Maternal and Neonatal Designation requirements in order to maintain compliance with changes in regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Minimum Work Experience
- 2 years of acute care in NICU or L&D
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current Texas RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP

- Compile, analyze, and present reports
- Develop, review, revise, and evaluate applicable policies, procedures, and job guides
- Compose letters/memoranda
- Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, and perform loop closure
