About the role
As a Product Specialist, your primary goal will be to build light fixtures adhering to our high standards of production, preparing them for shipment. In addition, assistance with inventory, quality control, shop maintenance, and other duties will be expected. We are looking for self-starters, who are proactive and enjoy seeing tasks through to completion.
What you'll do
- Assemble products and sub-assemblies to accurately fulfill work orders
- Conform to standard building operations to ensure high-quality products and sub-assemblies
- Clearly and accurately package products with the customer in mind
- Maintain a consistent production build time average across all product collections, within an average deviation of 15% of the planned time
- Actively encourage safe behavior, 5S housekeeping activities and engage in collaborative projects
- Use the job instruction training method where applicable
- Perform problem-solving and improvement of Kaizen activities
- Demonstrate initiative in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency of workplace and machinery
- Contribute by being vocal of ideas and actively listening to others
- Pick work orders for product specialists
