THE ULTIMATE purpose-driven role - YOU create safety, stability, and hope for new arrivals!
The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. Our vision is for all new arrivals to be welcomed with equitable, high-quality services and resources so they can maximize their potential.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
In response to the humanitarian crisis at America’s ports of entry, you will be part of a dedicated team providing short-term shelter services for unaccompanied children who arrive in the U.S. without a parent or legal guardian.
You will play a hands-on role ensuring children receive:
-
Trauma-informed residential care and emotional support
High-quality education services
Immediate physical and mental healthcare, including pediatric, dental, and nutritional care
Safe, compassionate supervision from arrival through reunification
Our goal is simple and powerful: to ensure every child is discharged quickly into the loving care of a family sponsor - and during their time with us, receives best-in-class therapeutic, medical, recreational, and educational support tailored to their migration journey.
This is meaningful work that creates immediate, tangible change for children in crisis.
WHO YOU ARE?
You are compassionate, steady, and driven by purpose. You thrive in environments where safety, dignity, and empathy matter.
