About the Role:An established power engineering organization is seeking a
Transmission Line Engineer to support expanding transmission and grid modernization initiatives across the Southeast. This role offers a balance of design leadership and hands-on technical work.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and support high-voltage transmission line design effortsProvide technical leadership and responsible charge supportReview engineering deliverables for accuracy and qualityCollaborate with project teams, clients, and contractorsAssist with construction support and site visits as needed
Technical Focus:69kV+ transmission line designStructure layout, foundations, grounding, and sag/tensionBill of materials and cost estimatingSoftware:
PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, MFADQualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Electrical)57 years of transmission line engineering experiencePE required, or EIT in progress to getting PE. Familiarity with utility standards and field construction practices
$120,000 - $165,000 a year
