Service Dispatch Manager to lead our service dispatch operations. This role is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and optimizing field service technicians while ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflows, and strong team leadership.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and excels at balancing customer needs with operational efficiency.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage daily dispatch operations, including scheduling and routing service techniciansSupervise and support the dispatch team, providing coaching and performance feedbackCoordinate service calls to ensure timely response and efficient resource utilizationAct as a key point of contact between technicians, customers, and managementMonitor service metrics (response times, completion rates, customer satisfaction)Handle escalations and resolve scheduling or service issues promptlyMaintain accurate service records and dispatch dataCollaborate with operations, sales, and service teams to improve processesEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service agreements
Requirements and Qualifications5+ years proven experience in service dispatch, operations coordination, or field service managementPrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to make quick, effective decisions under pressureProficiency with dispatch software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office (or similar tools)Industry experience in HVAC, plumbing, is an asset
