We are seeking an experienced and passionate Horse Trainer to provide training, care, and guidance for horses at the Galloping Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horse behavior, riding disciplines, and safety protocols, and will be committed to the well-being and development of each horse.
Key Responsibilities:

Train horses in accordance with their individual needs, skill level, and discipline (e.g., riding, competition, or therapy).

Assess horse behavior, health, and temperament, and implement appropriate training techniques.

Handle, groom, and care for horses daily, including feeding, mucking stalls, and monitoring overall health.

Prepare horses for shows, competitions, or riding sessions, including conditioning, riding, and groundwork.

Work with riders/owners to provide guidance and instruction on horse handling, riding, and training techniques.

Maintain accurate records of training progress, health, and behavior for each horse.

Ensure all training practices comply with safety standards and animal welfare guidelines.
Qualifications:

Proven experience training horses in show jumping.

Strong knowledge of equine behavior, anatomy, and care.

Excellent riding and handling skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Patience, discipline, and strong problem-solving skills.

[Optional] Certification from recognized equestrian organizations preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and handle heavy feed or equipment.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Capable of long hours of physical activity, including riding, grooming, and stall work.
