Data Engineer

What youll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize a data ingestion pipeline built with Java and Python.
- Implement new features and improvements that keep our systems efficient and scalable.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and share ideas that raise the bar for our engineering practices.
- Stay curious and up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience of +4 years as a Data Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A collaborative mindset and proactive attitude.
- Strong English communication skills (B2/C1 level). You'll often interact 1:1 with native speakers.
- It'd be great if you also have
- Experience with Apache Beam or Apache Spark.
- Knowledge of observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
