Job Summary:
As a Youth Respite Lead, you will be responsible for the supervision, guidance, and training of Respite DSP. This role will also require you to provide quality care to our youth clients served by Buckeye Residential Solutions. You will be a critical member of the team as you will have direct accountability for your staff and clients. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records as required by Buckeye Residential Solutions and any other government agency such as DODD, ODHS, and County Case Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with youth in a residential or community-based setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have/ or complete certification in CPR, CPI, MUI, First Aid, Medication Administration, and Documentation Training (On-site training provided)
Responsibilities:
- Train new staff/ training staff on clients specifics, which include the ISP, BSP, an d medication specific training.
- Meeting new clients/ families upon intake approval.
- Engage in monthly Parent Orientation and program tours.
- Solve essential client issues and escalate irregular problems to the Youth Program, Administrator, along with proposed solutions.
- Positive attitude with the desire to help others.
