As an Install Lead at Granite Concepts, you'll oversee our countertop installation team and play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to our highest standards of quality. You'll work closely with installers, customers, and management to uphold our commitment to delivering the best countertop experience in the region. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and enjoys mentoring others in a positive, team-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage installer performance, workflow, and quality standards to ensure successful project completion.
- Develop and maintain Installation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Train installers on best practices, safety, and company standards.
- Conduct installer performance reviews and recommend compensation adjustments when appropriate.
- Perform random quality control checks on installations to ensure excellence.
- Support daily scheduling, staging, and preparation of install materials.
- Oversee tool management, including tracking, purchasing, and maintenance programs.
- Ensure installers maintain vehicles and equipment to Granite Concepts' standards.
- Act as the first point of contact for installers when questions or issues arise during jobs.
- Assist with post-installation concerns, including repairs or return trips.
- Develop a working understanding of the laser template system and perform occasional templates.
- Foster a professional, safe, and positive work environment built on respect and teamwork.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate team performance.
- Basic measuring and math skills.
- Outstanding attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand, sit, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius (occasional overnight stays).
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining Granite Concepts' quality, professionalism, and safety standards.
The pay range for this role is:25 - 30 USD per hour(Granite Concepts, LLC)
