Sunshine Schools NC, a respected leader in early childhood education with five thriving campuses across Eastern North Carolina, is seeking a Child Care Center Director to lead our Morehead location.

What You'll Lead
As Director, you will:
- Have full ownership of daily center operations, reporting to the Regional Operations Director while exercising full decision-making authority.
- Inspire, mentor, and lead a seasoned team of educators, driving high performance and alignment to Sunshine Schools' mission.
- Ensure classrooms thrive with Frog Street curriculum and innovative learning experiences.
- Partner with families through transparent communication and strong relationships.
- Oversee enrollment, compliance, budgets, staffing, and center success with excellence.
- Serve as the culture-carrier of Sunshine Schools' values, modeling joy, professionalism, and accountability.
Qualifications We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of proven leadership experience in early childhood education.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or related field.
- Deep knowledge of NC licensing requirements and early education best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A track record of building high-performing teams and delivering excellence in center management.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
