MANAGER INVASIVE CARDIOLOGY & RADIOLOGY CODING - MEDICAL REC

POSITION SUMMARY
- The Interventional Cardiology and Radiology Coding Manager is responsible for directing, supporting, monitoring, and coordinating coding and abstracting processes for all interventional cardiology and radiology services. The Interventional Cardiology and Radiology Coding Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the completion, accuracy, and compliance of all the charge coding functions.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
  - Associates Degree
- Minimum Experience
  - 3 years of interventional cardiology/radiology coding experience
- Required Registration/License/Certification
  - RN or RT and CIRCC
  - BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
- Preferred Education
  - BS of Nursing or AS in RT
- Preferred Experience
  - 5 or more years of interventional cardiology/radiology coding experience and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Cardiology, Radiology or OR.
- Preferred Registration/License/Certification
  - RN / CIRCC / RCIS/ RT/ CCC
