Ultrasound Intern
As an Intern Ultrasound Tech, the Intern will focus on patient safety, is required to function within the parameters of the legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of the employing health care institution or practice setting. The Intern Ultrasound Tech is responsible for clerical duties assigned, transporting the patient to and from the department, completing all necessary documentation, and once the patient is in the department may prepare equipment for the x-ray and/or perform the exam; depending upon student level of training and completed competency for the exam being performed.
