About the role
We’re looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager to nurture and grow client partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating exceptional customer experiences, solving problems, and ensuring that every client feels valued and supported.
As an Account Manager at 3rd Mil, you’ll serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing onboarding, engagement, renewals, and retention. You’ll work collaboratively with Sales Executives and internal teams to ensure clients are set up for success and equipped to make the most of our educational programs.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients across all markets
- Educate clients on courses, best practices, and our Student Management System
- Guide new accounts through onboarding and setup, ensuring smooth implementation
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase engagement with low-performing accounts
- Coordinate renewal and retention efforts, generating renewal quotes and invoices
- Respond promptly to client questions, issues, and requests to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with Sales Executives and internal teams for complex client needs
- Maintain accurate client information, tasks, and communications in HubSpot CRM
- Generate monthly reports (e.g., outcome and performance data) and assist with analysis
- Continuously improve by seeking and applying feedback
- Dedicate time to professional development and ongoing training
What you’ll bring
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and professional presence
- Experience in relationship or account management preferred
- Knowledge of HubSpot CRM, GSuite, and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to conduct effective and professional virtual meetings
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a genuine desire to help clients succeed
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
- Openness to feedback and a growth-oriented attitude
Performance expectations
- Respond to all emails and inbound calls within the same business day
- Complete all HubSpot tasks by their due date
- Monitor client onboarding progress through to “Go Live”
- Maintain a 90% renewal rate for eligible annual accounts
- Consistently meet monthly revenue goals
- Dedicate at least 5 hours per month to professional development
