WHO is Sound Generations?
We are a comprehensive non-profit organization that serves older adults and people with disabilities in King County. Our mission is to partner with older adults to provide accessible and inclusive services so they can age their way.
We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team at Lake City Seniors in Seattle, WA.
What will YOU do?
The Program Coordinator performs work using knowledge and experience specific to the program. The Program Coordinator exercises independent judgement in interpreting and applying rules and regulations. Independently advises staff, program participants, and/or the public regarding program content, policies, procedures and activities.
Pay Rate: $27.66 per hour.
Work Schedule: Monday Through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor program activities in relation to established program goals and within established program parameters.
- Provide information and advice to staff, program participants and/or the public regarding program content, policies and activities. Recommend alternative courses of action; promote the program to outside organizations.
- Monitor budget status in line with program activities, plans or priorities.
- Track, reconcile, and process records and/or files such as program invoices, expenses, bank deposits, vouchers and other documents.
- Attend meetings and/or conferences as program representative.
- Problem solve independently for the benefit of program clients, vendors, and management.
- Perform a broad range of program administrative support. Update and maintain program databases. Gather, collate, and analyze data. Create and distribute reports.
- Develop and distribute promotional materials and information.
- May recruit, screen, place, train and supervise volunteers.
- Perform the work of lower classified positions.
- May make public presentations related to the program.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma OR Equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ related experience.
