Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet and say Goodbye to all customers as they arrive and depart the restaurant
 - Communicate with servers/cashiers to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service
 - Accommodate any special needs to guests (highchairs, boosters, disabilities, etc.)
 - Manage the wait line while the restaurant is full
 - Provide assistance to servers and takeout staff as needed
 - Maintain a clean and organized area (menus, crayons, sailor caps, etc.)
 - Clear plates, baskets, silverware, and glassware from tables throughout the guests dining experience and after guests leave.
 - Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant (including but not limited to tables, floors, grounds, bathrooms, vestibules, etc.)
 - Take items to the dish room and sort in the appropriate areas for washing.
 - Empty trash & bus pans throughout shift
 - Sweep or mop floors throughout shift
 - Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed
 - Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
 - Other additional tasks management may need assistance with
 
Qualifications & Requirements
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
 - Ability to stand for long periods of times.
 - Carry objects up to 30 pounds.
 - Ability to wipe down tabletops, booths, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in all areas of the restaurant.
