Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst prepares financial statements, analyzes budgets and costs, reports and forecasts, and provides financial data to support management decisions that enhance hospital profitability and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assess the impact of pricing, volume, and cost changes on profitability.
- Provide financial and statistical reports for department leaders, management, and physicians, including analysis for service lines, cost accounting, and business planning.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, system-wide reporting, managed care contract analysis, and developing financial models; review data and present findings on financial issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as ad hoc reporting requests.
Educational Experience: Bachelors Degree in Business or other related field.
Work Experience: Prefers 2 or more years in Healthcare business environment or related field.
