Registration Technician
Responsible for recording accurate and pertinent demographic patient information via the Meditech system in a timely manner.Maintains patient confidentiality.Collects copayments and deductibles at the time of service.Works closely with financial counseling to ensure appropriate financial arrangements and authorizations are obtained.Obtains appropriate "reason for visit"/ICD-10 coding documentation from physician's office of Advanced Beneficiary Notice signatures as prescribed by Medicare.
High School Diploma or equivalent.10 key calculator and keyboarding skills required.
One year experience in a business/medical office required.
