About the Role
We are hiring Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) to support our growing project needs in the Kelowna and Okanagan region. This role starts as on-call/casual, with the potential for full-time opportunities as our team expands.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic, pedestrians, and workers safely through active work zones
- Set up and take down lane closures and traffic control equipment
- Interpret and implement traffic control plans
- Complete daily barricade and work zone safety reports
- Support crews to ensure safety and compliance on job sites
Requirements
- Valid BCCSA TCP Ticket
- TCPs minimum of 8 months of experience with a flagging company
- LCTs min 1yr of experience as a TCP and 1yr as a LCT
- Class 5 Driver's License + clean driver's abstract (required for LCTs)
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Road paving experience
- Strong understanding of construction site safety
- Good communication skills and strong work ethic
Compensation
- Traffic Control Person (TCP): $20–$25/hour
- Lane Closure Technician (LCT): $25–$30/hour
- Plus 9.2% vacation/stat pay + union benefits
Work Type
- On-call / Casual (with potential for long-term or full-time placement)
- Flexible scheduling based on project needs

- Kelowna, BC, and surrounding Okanagan region
