Workforce Optimization EngineerPosition Summary
The Workforce Optimization Engineer designs, monitors, and strengthens organizational labor management practices to ensure efficiency and financial responsibility. This role provides advanced reporting, analytical insights, and consultative support to leadership while aligning staffing and productivity benchmarks with organizational budgets. The Workforce Optimization Engineer partners closely with leaders across the organization to assess staffing levels, manage premium labor usage, and develop action plans that drive sustainable improvement. In addition, this role promotes accountability in labor management, leverages productivity management tools and software, and coaches leaders to make informed, financially responsible workforce decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Four years of experience in workforce analytics, productivity management, labor optimization, or performance engineering required.
- Strong knowledge of workforce management systems, productivity benchmarking, and labor budgeting practices required.
- Experience in healthcare labor management preferred.
