Summary:
The Recovery House Tech plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents in recovery. This position involves being on-site whenever residents are present, ensuring compliance with house rules, addressing grievances, and responding to incidents effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be readily available to assist residents with any questions or additional support they may need.
- Assist in filing and reviewing resident grievances promptly and in a sensitive manner.
- Respond to any incidents at the recovery home, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and incidents are documented accurately.
- Address situations where residents are not upholding the Code of Conduct and enforce house rules consistently.
- Ensure consistent on-site presence whenever residents are at the facility.
- Role- model recovery principles and prosocial behavior
- Ensure the recovery home is free from alcohol and illicit substances.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure there are no prohibited items in the home.
- Account for all residents and ensure their additional support needs are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervision Given:
This position does not supervise any staff.
Supervision Received:
The Recovery House Tech reports to the Recovery House Manager
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations delicately.
- Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 Regulations
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in counseling or related field is a plus.
Certifications:
CPR certification is preferred.
NPI number/Ohio Medicaid ID is required (instructions on how to apply will be provided).
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role or in a residential setting is preferred.
Physical Effort
- This position requires on-site presence during resident hours.
- May involve standing or walking for extended periods.
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts as needed.
Background:
Must pass all Federal and State background checks according to company policy.
Schedule
Full-Time, Adjustable Time Agreed Upon During Hire.
