Arts for Learning Maryland (formerly Young Audiences of Maryland) is devoted to enriching the lives and education of Maryland's youth through educational and culturally diverse arts programs. Through Arts for Learning, professional teaching artists from all disciplines partner with educators, schools, and school districts to provide -- on average -- over 560,000 hours of learning in, through, and about the arts to more than 155,000 Maryland students annually.

Position Overview
EIR Videographer will need to film lessons in control and treatment classrooms at Accokeek Academy. Filming will take place on Monday and Tuesday's, 8 times per rotation (find rotation dates below). Each classroom will be filmed twice per rotation, these must include one ELA lesson and one Math. There are a total of 11 teachers at Accokeek, meaning there are a total of 22 lessons that will be filmed each rotation. Videographers will work closely with Arts Integration Coaches to schedule filmed lessons and Videographers are responsible for ensuring the minimum (22) lessons are filmed each rotation. At the end of each rotation Videographer will deliver labeled SD cards to Saturday PD at Beacon Heights, or coordinate a pick up/drop off with A4L staff. Videographers will also attend the last Saturday PD to film teacher testimonials.

Key Responsibilities
- Film a total of 88 lessons throughout the year (22 per rotation)
- Manage camera equipment, including GoPros, microphones, batteries, and SD cards
- Label and organize SD cards with teacher name, artist name, rotation number, and subject
- Maintain accurate records of all filmed lessons
- Ensure batteries are charged and sufficient SD cards are available; request additional equipment from HQ staff as needed
- Attend the final Saturday professional development session to capture teacher testimonials
Qualifications
- Proficiency with filming equipment, especially GoPros and microphones
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Reliability and ability to manage deadlines
Compensation
This is a part-time, non-exempt, temporary position.
- Instruction time: $50/hour up to 5 hours per day, up to two days per week
- Not eligible for benefits
