Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Identify and capture significant sales opportunities best suited to Precision Gears capabilities across multiple end markets and applications.
- Develop, lead and execute sales and pricing strategies and efforts through to purchase order.
- Achieve assigned sales, business profitability and growth targets.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular visits and communications, using a consultative/solution selling approach.
- Stay aware of potential new programs and stay abreast of any market, customer or competition changes while keeping management informed.
- Manage and lead inside sales / customer service team.
- Ability to travel 50%+ to customers and trade shows.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years B2B experience selling technical/industrial type products to leading OEM and/or Tier 1 and 2 level type manufacturers. Gear industry experience preferred but not necessary.
- College degree from accredited university.
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability/preference to work within a team oriented environment.
- Self-directed, resourceful and goal driven. Strong business sense.
- Forward thinking and willing to challenge the status quo. Innovative and creative approaches to developing strategies and solving problems.
