Description
Job Purpose: - The Lead Therapist at Sierra Health and Wellness Centers will be responsible for overseeing the therapeutic services offered to clients, ensuring the highest quality of care and treatment. This role involves leading a team of therapists, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support the mental health and wellness of our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of therapists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring they meet the therapeutic needs and goals. - Conduct regular therapy sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. - Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to therapeutic services. - Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of therapy staff. - Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation. - Stay updated with the latest developments in therapy practices and integrate new methodologies into practice. - Promote a supportive and collaborative environment within the therapy team and across the organization.
Qualifications
Required Education: - Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. - Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of practice. Required Experience: - Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role. - Proven track record of working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. - Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of therapists effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. - Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. - Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices and standards.
