About The Role
We are seeking a personable and organized Receptionist Clerk to join our Administrative team. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, this role is vital in creating a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of administrative duties while showcasing excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, hourly position, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic and client-facing role.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it remains presentable and organized.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars for relevant staff members.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages, as well as manage outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain and update records, files, and databases as required.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, photocopying, and filing.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Support the department with additional clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in administrative or secretarial fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or clerical role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
