About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry and Information Clerk to join our Administrative department on a full-time, hourly basis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient data processing, while maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism. As a key member of the team, you'll contribute to the seamless management of information, supporting organizational operations and decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Input, update, and maintain accurate records in company databases or systems.
- Verify and correct data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Retrieve and organize information as needed to support decision-making processes across departments.
- Prepare and distribute reports, summaries, and other documentation based on collected data.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborate with team members to address data inconsistencies or gaps.
- Monitor data-entry workflows and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide support to administrative staff by managing additional clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar clerical position.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
