Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator SCMS #7696Summary
Under the general supervision of a physician or designated supervisor, this position is a key member of the team that provides optimal healthcare to patients. The position supports physicians and other care providers to deliver patient-centered care, as well as coordinates and supervises essential duties of clinical team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- Four years experience working in a clinical setting as an RN in a medical surgical, women’s and/or oncology practice.
- Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and the ability to adapt of individual needs.
- The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and/or knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
- Highly effective verbal and written skills.
- A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with Windows operating system.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in providing education to adult learners with demonstrated teaching ability and excellent coordination skills.
- Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN).
- Prior experience in a clinical leadership role.
