Walker Consultants, a consulting, design, and planning firm providing engineering and consulting services in several specialty practices with offices across the US, seeks a talented entry-level Marketing Assistant to join our Denver team.
This position reports to the Marketing Manager – West Region and works with the Managing Principal and Directors of the Denver office, as well as the Corporate Marketing team in the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will have the ability to:

- Balance priorities and utilize excellent judgment in the pursuit of the work
- Communicate well with a variety of groups and individuals
- Create content using typography and imagery that supports the Walker Consultants brand
What You’ll Do
- Assist the office as needed with production of proposals, qualification packages, client presentations, and interviews in accordance with corporate image and standard guidelines
- On-going maintenance of CRM proposal database (Deltek/Vision/Vantagepoint), marketing materials, media library (OpenAsset), and assist with procuring project photography
- Assist with communications/PR initiatives and social media
- Support more senior marketing staff with day-to-day marketing activities
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism preferred
- 0 to 3 years’ experience. Experience in A/E/C Industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CC (InDesign)
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision is preferred, and experience with OpenAsset is a plus. If no experience, demonstrate the ability to learn quickly
- Proficient grammatical editing and report formatting skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as solid organizational and problem-solving skills
- An eye for attention to detail
- Ability to create a compelling story
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines
Compensation & Benefits
At Walker Consultants, we are committed to maintaining fairness and equity in our pay practices. For this role, the estimated base hourly range is $26 – $28.50 per hour. The final pay offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
