Admission AdvisorResponsible for visiting patients and assisting them with paying co-pays & deductibles, making arrangements to pay outstanding accounts, and/or gaining financial aid. Responsible for patient registration, insurance benefit pre-certification, provision of financial counseling, and all registrations hospital-wide. Coordinates prepayment for elective services. Verifies the completeness and accuracy of all registrations occurring after hours and corrects any errors as necessary. Bachelor's degree preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) desired. 3 - 5 years previous collection and hospital admission experience preferred.
