About the Role:
As an Optician, using the prescriptions ophthalmologists and optometrists write for patients, dispenses eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides patient care services in support of the physicians.
- Dispenses eyeglasses and contact lenses, making recommendations about frames and lenses.
- Takes measurements of patients' eyes and instructs in care of contact lenses.
Requirements:
Education: Associate's degree preferred
Experience: 1-3 years of experience
Certification/Licensure: Ophthalmology Certification preferred
