- The Medical Technologist-POC works with the POC Coordinator to organize and monitor the POC program. Develops and writes procedures and monitors that the procedures are adhered to. Performs all forms of quality control on the testing platforms. Helps monitor users and competency.

- Completion of a formal training program in an approved MLT/MT program.
- Registered as an MLT/MT/MLS (ASCP) or equivalent
- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Compile statistics.
- Input data in to computer programs.
- Maintain logs.
- Ability to use computer and diagnostic equipment.
