Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and a flair for crafting unique and delicious cocktails.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional beverage experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, primarily cocktails, wines, and other unique drinks.
- Create innovative drink recipes that enhance the guest experience.
- Provide excellent guest service experiences by engaging with guests, and addressing any inquiries or comments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Toast POS or similar systems.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate beverage offerings for banquets and special events.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices to ensure guest safety.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
- Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Valid certification for serving alcohol
Education and/or Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year experience
Essential Physical Functions:
- Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.
- Ability to stand/walk for 6 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data
- Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
