CARDIAC REHAB LPN
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Rehab LPN is responsible for providing nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; observes, assesses, treats and cares for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process. Oversees the work of non-licensed personnel. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Graduate of a school of practical Nursing or higher education. State LPN License required. BLS Healthcare Provider required.
Experience:
Experience of at least 6 months in a physician’s office setting or 2 yrs experience in direct patient care at a medical facility.

CERTIFIED EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the direction of care of patients in the inpatient, Phase I, and the outpatient, Phase II and III, areas of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Responsible for assessment of patients, development and implementation of patient interventions and monitoring the effectiveness of those interaction in the cardiac Rehabilitation Program. Support the mission, vision, and core values of CRMC. Function under the general direction of the Medical Director and department director. Their role will integrate the components of clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, and caregiver.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors required -Masters Preferred in exercise science, kinesiology or equivalent
BS in exercise science, kinesiology or equivalent WITH ACSM-CEP or ASEP-EPC certification
Additional Certifications:
ACLS certification – obtained within 1 year of employment
BLS certification within 3 month of hire
Additional Experience Requirements:
2-3 year experience in cardiac care preferably in the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation setting
