Job Title: Machine Operator / Cook
Location: Elizabethtown, NC
Pay: Starts at $11.00/hr – Increases up to $17.00/hr based on performance and experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Some weekends required
Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated and qualified Machine Operator/Cook to join our team at a Processing plant in Elizabethtown. This position is hands-on and requires operating industrial cooking and processing equipment in a hot and physically demanding warehouse environment. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work in tough conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor cooking machinery and processing equipment
Follow production recipes and cooking times accurately
Maintain consistent quality and safety standards
Ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized per protocols
Lift, move, and handle raw and cooked product
Record production data and report any malfunctions
Follow all warehouse safety guidelines
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
Must be qualified with prior experience in machine operation and/or industrial cooking preferred
Able to work in a hot, dusty, and dirty environment
Must pass all pre-employment testing
Must have a clean background
Able to work long shifts and stand for extended periods
Willing to work some weekends when required
Strong work ethic and team player attitude
Benefits:
