Position Summary: As part of the Davis Academy Program, participants will rotate in the following six departments; IT, Surgical Services, ED, PT, Registration, Sports Medicine, Radiology, Cancer Care Center, Cardiac Rehab, Respiratory Therapy, Accounting, Physician Practices, Laboratory and Nursing, under the mentorship from a leader in each department.
Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required or currently in a High School Career Development Program Preferred Experience/Skills: Works well with a timeline; good communication skills Possible Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking Assisting with positioning and/or transporting patients Lifting supplies/equipment Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching Working Conditions: Contact with patients and staff in a wide variety of circumstances and settings. Possible exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries and illness) also subject to varying and unpredictable situations
