The Catering Sales Manager is an important part of the success in the company. Individuals will be responsible for coordinating the sales process from start to finish, ensuring event logistics are organized, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue and close sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings for high-end events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Supervise the planning and execution of both internal and external catering events, ensuring every detail is perfect.
- Create compelling proposals and banquet event orders that highlight our exceptional offerings.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, set ambitious financial targets, and ensure profitability.
- Cultivate relationships with premium vendors to enhance event quality and client satisfaction.
- Ensure all events adhere to safety and sanitation standards in line with HACCP guidelines.
- Take on additional duties and special projects as needed to drive business growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Deep knowledge of current food trends and fine dining service standards.
- 1-2 years in the hospitality industry, including 1 year in catering sales.
- Strong ability to supervise, schedule, train, and mentor team members.
- Exceptional ability to assess and fulfill client requirements.
- Skilled in collaborating with chefs to create menu proposals.
- Competence in supervising food preparation, service, and clean-up.
- Familiarity with A/V equipment setup and breakdown for events.
- Outstanding quantitative, oral, and written communication skills.
- Superior leadership and organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
- Exceptional abilities in client relations and customer service.
