About the Role
SpringHill Suites Memphis is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Public Space Attendant to help us maintain a clean, welcoming environment for every guest. This role is essential in keeping our lobby, hallways, restrooms, and public spaces spotless, organized, and guest-ready at all times. Key Responsibilities
Clean & Maintain Public Areas
Maintain cleanliness in all guest-facing areas including lobbies, elevators, hallways, and restrooms
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces and furniture regularly
Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other shared spaces
Provide Guest Support
Greet guests and respond to questions or requests in a professional, friendly manner
Help create a clean, calm, and comfortable environment that reflects the SpringHill Suites brand
Safety & Standards
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
Follow all property cleaning protocols and brand cleanliness standards consistently
Qualifications
Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred (hospitality a plus!)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning checklists
Professional and positive attitude with strong communication skills
Able to work independently and take initiative when needed
Physical Requirements
Able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs
Able to bend, stretch, reach, and stand or walk for long periods
Comfortable using cleaning tools, carts, and cleaning agents as directed
Schedule Availability
Morning Shift
Evening/Night Shift
Weekend and holiday availability preferred
