Position Description:
FlexGen is revolutionizing the energy landscape with our HybridOS platform, enabling rapid deployment and efficient management of large-scale battery storage systems critical for renewable energy adoption. Unlike traditional energy management systems that require custom development for each project, we apply modern technologies and product development principles to deliver software that is powerful, intuitive, and enjoyable to use.
As a HybridOS Training Specialist, you will be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and the people who use it. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs and materials that empower our users, partners, and internal teams to leverage the full potential of HybridOS. Utilizing existing documentation, you will create structured learning paths with clear objectives, producing concise training modules accessible through a learning portal. Your work will directly impact the speed and success of renewable energy integration into the power grid by ensuring that stakeholders can effectively utilize our platform to optimize battery performance and grid stability. The ideal candidate is a proactive educator with a passion for technology and a talent for translating complex concepts into engaging learning experiences.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Training Program Development
- Design and Develop Learning Materials: Create engaging instructional content, including user guides, video tutorials, interactive modules, and assessments, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles. Develop certification programs to validate user proficiency with HybridOS.
- Establish Learning Objectives: Define clear, measurable learning outcomes for diverse user groups to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.
- Utilize Authoring Tools: Evaluate, choose and launch the authoring tools and hosting platform to employ e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to produce high-quality training materials.
- Develop learning paths and material for different audiences: Internal, Users, Partners.
- Develop the FlexGen Academy brand through the creation of high-quality material and learning experiences.
Content Management and Delivery
- Maintain Training Resources: Regularly update knowledge base of training materials to reflect product enhancements and industry best practices.
- Manage Learning Platforms: Oversee the organization and accessibility of training content and learning pathways within the learning management system (LMS).
- Facilitate Training Sessions: Conduct live virtual and in-person training sessions as needed to complement self-paced learning.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Lifecycle teams to gather insights and ensure training content meets user needs. Understand product updates and translate technical features into training materials.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Collect and analyze feedback and performance metrics to refine training programs and enhance learner engagement
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of developments in instructional design and energy storage technologies to incorporate innovative approaches into training.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication, or a related field
- 3+ years experience in instructional design or technical training, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment, creating technical training materials or educational content.
- Familiarity with e-learning development tools and LMS platforms (such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or TalentLMS).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of energy storage systems or renewable energy sectors.
- Certifications in instructional design, technical training or related credentials.
- Experience in creating multimedia content, such as animations or interactive simulations.
- Familiarity with video production, editing, and presentation software.
- Understanding of knowledge base and documentation platforms.
