The role:
We’re seeking an exceptional Product Designer to join as our first design hire. This is a unique
opportunity to take ownership of the design and UX across browser and mobile platforms. This
role requires a hands-on approach, in-depth understanding of our product and customers, and a
passion for delivering seamless user experiences. Working closely with stakeholders in
California and engineers in London, you’ll need to be flexible to ensure smooth collaboration
across time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Own the design and UX for the Coram app across web and mobile applications
- Map out the user journey for various features and improve user experience
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components
- Improve usability and work with engineers to implement designs
- Test applications regularly to ensure quality and alignment with designs
- Collaborate with teams in California and London for smooth execution of tasks and overall delivery
Skills and qualifications:
- 4+ years of product design experience, ideally in a high-growth environment
- Strong design sense with a track record of owning and shipping products
- Experience building design systems
- Excellent portfolio showcasing both mobile and web designs
- Effective communicator with attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees
- Ability to work in an onsite environment - we move quicker when we're in the same room

Pay range:
The pay range for this role (Sunnyvale or San Francisco) is $160,000 to $200,000 per year.
