Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital’s (NVRH) Corner Medical team is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Corner Medical has 9 providers who see anywhere from 50 to 100 patients per day, providing comprehensive primary and preventive care for adult patients. Someone who is flexible and able to multitask will excel in this role.
Our enthusiastic and passionate team members continuously learn and grow within their roles at NVRH thanks to education support and scholarship programs. Under the supervision or direction of an MD, DO, PA or NP, the CMA will perform medical assistant duties necessary for the efficient functioning of the medical practice. This includes greeting patients, answering the phone, maintaining patient flow, performing patient screening, simple health history intakes, vital signs and documenting accurately in the EHR. CMAs will assist providers with in-office procedures, assemble sterile instrument and supplies and the set-up, maintenance, breakdown, and cleaning of patient equipment.
