About the role
The Digital Marketing Strategist position sits within the SI Partner Success team in the Business and Industry Copilots Group at Microsoft. This team is responsible for building and supporting the global partner channel for Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Power Pages).
You'll work closely with the XIAD Ops program team, which runs the Microsoft In a Day (XIAD) workshops, connecting Microsoft partners with customers for full-day, hands-on learning events.
Essential Functions
- Customer Engagement: Respond to customer emails and inquiries about workshop registrations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Partner Management: Support the recruitment, onboarding, communication, and retention of partners. Conduct partner reviews and provide support for their success and challenges.
- Event Planning & Management: Plan workshops based on product type, adjust schedules as needed, and coordinate logistics for events.
- Data Analysis & Follow-Up: Analyze daily event reports, extract insights, and follow up with partners to ensure adherence to program best practices.
- Content Development: Create presentations and lead office hour sessions to educate and engage partners.
- Quality Assurance: Test event operations, templates, new formats, and tools for performance and consistency.
- Resource Management: Maintain and update key resources and documentation for both the internal team and external partners
Required Skills
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Relationship Management: Experience in partner or customer-facing roles (e.g., Partner Success Manager)
- Organizational Abilities: Strong multitasking and time management skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Presentation Skills: Confident in developing and delivering engaging presentations
- Analytical Thinking: Able to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Collaboration: Works well both independently and with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working 3–4+ hours during Pacific Time business hours.
- Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience at Microsoft or in the Microsoft partner ecosystem
- Knowledge of partner channel dynamics and event operations ideal candidate
