Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intranet Specialist (Contractor) to join our Marketing Department. This position will focus on supporting our internal communication initiatives through effective administration of our intranet platform. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and a strategic communication mindset, with a strong ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intranet Platform Administration: Support the day-to-day management of the intranet, including content scheduling, reporting, and customer service tasks to enhance internal communications.
- Site Maintenance: Oversee the structure and upkeep of the intranet, including visual design, permissions, audiences, and site structure.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with content managers and contributors to ensure that intranet updates are integrated into broader communication plans and messaging.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and departments to ensure consistent and timely messaging and content.
- Project Coordination: Lead small to medium-sized projects aimed at expanding the reach of the intranet and boosting employee engagement.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with intranet vendors, ensuring service and support are aligned with organizational needs.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on intranet best practices and digital communication trends, integrating these insights into strategic planning.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital or internal communications, with a focus on marketing.
- Hands-on experience with intranet website platforms, particularly Simpplr, is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and departments.
- Proficiency in content management, reporting, and project coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare industry or within large, complex organizations.
- Familiarity with industry trends in digital communications, internal engagement, and intranet best practices.
