Biomedical Technician II

POSITION SUMMARY: Repairs, calibrates, and maintains all types of basic and intermediate level clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments and systems. Inspects, installs, and provides preventive maintenance of general medical equipment. Provides general oversight of the equipment management program in concert with Biomedical Equipment Technician III’s and the Director, Support Services.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Technology OR
- Associate's degree in Electronics OR
- Equivalent hours of military training in electronics or biomedical electronics may substitute for Associate's degree
- 3 years of biomedical maintenance experience in a hospital setting
