POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible to review orders, charges and related diagnoses from radiation oncology records to ensure services billed are consistent with the record documentation and current billing/coding regulations.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum Experience
-
2 years' coding experience Credentials from AAPC or AHIMA; or Radiation Oncology Certified Coder credential.

Certification from AHIMA or AAPC

3+ years of oncology coding/billing experience
