The Vice President of Clinical and Therapeutic Services is a critical member of the education leadership team and is responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and continuous improvement of all clinical and therapeutic services for education population of Gersh. This leader will ensure services are high-quality, compliant with regulations, integrated with broader organizational initiatives, and responsive to the individualized needs of the students we serve while operating with the highest level of integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the development and implementation of clinical and therapeutic services for education population of Gersh.
- Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, including therapists, counselors, behavior specialists, and related service providers.
- Set and uphold clinical standards aligned with regulatory requirements and current best practices in autism care and therapeutic support.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and programs, using data and outcomes to inform improvements.
- Collaborate with school leaders and other department heads to ensure clinical services are effectively integrated into educational programming.
- Lead the development and monitoring of clinical protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee training and ongoing professional development for the clinical team.
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Cultivate partnerships with external professionals and agencies to support student care and align therapeutic strategies.
- Monitor compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards across all clinical services.
- Guide data collection and analysis related to therapeutic outcomes and student progress to drive informed decision-making and continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, occupational therapy, or a related clinical field (doctorate preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in clinical or therapeutic services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Licensure or certification in a relevant clinical discipline preferred (e.g., LCSW, BCBA, LMHC, OT, Psychologist).
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and evidence-based interventions.
- Demonstrated success leading clinical teams and managing cross-functional programs in educational or healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data systems or EMRs related to clinical documentation.
Working Conditions
- Regular visit and contact with each Gersh location and leaders.
- Travel between program sites is required.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, walking, speaking, and listening.
- Must be able to use a computer and standard office equipment.
- Visual and manual dexterity sufficient to read and write.

The pay range for this role is:175,000 - 190,000 USD per year(Remote)
