Job Summary
Assist the Reimbursement Director in the accumulation of data and preparation of third-party payor cost reports and audits; complete reimbursement performance analyses, assist with contractual provision and managed care payment review.
Qualifications
Education
- Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Experience:
- Required
- Three (3) years or more of hospital-based reimbursement experience
- Three (3) years or more of financial cost reporting experience
- Experience with and knowledge of cost reporting software
- Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
- Preferred
- Experience with patient billing, cost accounting, and managed care contract
Certification/Licensure:
- Preferred
- Membership in a relevant professional organization (HFMA, TAHFA, etc.), preferred within one (1) year of employment
