Education Requirements: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in A.M.A. approved school
and meets requirements for registry by A.R.R.T. Certification in BLS as required by policy.
Experience: Must be registered, or if recent graduate, must pass registry.
Required Skills: Must be knowledgeable in performance of all routine exams and be familiar with all special
exams in all patient catagories including infant, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Interpersonal skills. Communication skills-verbal and written. Ability to handle job stress and
interact effectively with others in the workplace as essential functions of the job. Honesty and
maintaining a professinal composure are important aspects of the job.
Physical Demands: Requires good eyesight, manual dexterity, able to perform under pressure, assists patients,
lifting, pulling, stooping, bending, etc.
