A Photographer 2 is expected to have 1-2+ years of experience in product photography. Responsible for maintaining Crumbl’s photography and creating stellar content while learning the intricate details of Crumbl’s branding. The Photographer 2 will be tasked with preparing for shoots, executing on instruction from the Director/Photographer 3, editing work in a timely manner to hit weekly deadlines, and work closely with our social and video team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- This position requires the Photographer 2 to work independently and ensure the success of assigned projects under the direction of the Director of Photography.
- Stay up to date with social trends and platform updates to create relevant and timely visual content.
- Plan, photograph, and edit original content for use across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and more.
- Studio space and file management: responsible for digital file organization along with studio organization and maintenance.
- Responsible for shooting and editing weekly content that will repeat consistently, or vary by week, determined by the Director of Photography.
- Help assist and fulfill any social/campaign needs.
- Updating and photographing content for products (external / internal photo needs)
- Ability to work strongly with people and take/edit company headshots.
- Working with PR to photograph any events/content they may need documented.
- Flexible with changing focuses that can vary from social to campaign or event work, with the ability to jump in and support other teams as needed. Requires a collaborative, go-with-the-flow mindset.
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of related experience or education.
- Preferred education in photography — associates or bachelors degree.
- Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized.
- Strong team player as you’ll be working closely with other members of the photo team.
- Able to work in a fast-paced role with quick turnaround.
- Ability to pivot last second for quick company-wide changes which may require updated photo assets and messaging.
- Strong understanding of lighting (strobes/studio), manual camera settings, composition, styling, and editing in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other Adobe programs.
- Strong attention to detail, including overseeing consistency in how the desserts look across multiple applications.
- Understanding of composition and ability to style a scene.
