Tendit Group is looking for a skilled and dependable Class B CDL Tandem Driver to join our growing team. In this essential role, you'll operate a tandem axle dump truck to haul asphalt and other construction materials to and from job sites, directly supporting our paving and construction crews. You'll be part of the team that keeps jobs running on time, safely and efficiently delivering the materials that keep our projects moving.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a tandem dump truck to transport asphalt and construction materials
- Load and unload materials with accuracy and care
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Stay in close communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and crews
- Pitch in with general labor or site support when needed
- Maintain delivery logs and vehicle maintenance record.
What You Bring to the Team
- Valid Class B CDL and clean driving record
- 1+ year of tandem dump truck experience (asphalt hauling preferred)
- Solid understanding of DOT safety and compliance standards
- Comfortable navigating tight job sites and active construction zones
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-first mindset
- Familiarity with paving operations and asphalt material handling
